This has been an incredible week. This past weekend I went with a group of 12 other people from my organization to the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara on a safari. While there for the weekend we saw lions, elephants, cheetas, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and impalas. It was an amazing trip. When we returned home we went to a local school to play soccer with the neighborhood children; they absolutely love to have us around and to have their pictures taken.

Just yesterday I took a day trip to a local orphanage to visit the 52 children there. The orphanage only has 9 workers and appreciated our help with bathing and feeding the toddlers.

This weekend a few of us are heading to Arusha on a bus to see a national soccer game; it should be an interesting experience. Starting on Monday, I will be going back to work at the clinic to give injections, start IVs, take blood pressures, and change beds. I can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring.
