What are some of your job responsibilities?

Public Relations - Send press releases and product introductions to the furnitureindustry publication
Direct Marketing - Direct Mail Postcards, Advertisements, Photo shoots, Product Catalogs
Internet Marketing- Developing the design and content of the Four Hands website and e-flyer program
Events - Planning all parties and VIP events for the company

How did you find your current job?
Through a friend that knew the owners.

Did you learn any of your skills from school?
Yes, I graduated in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. I also took several Interior Design and Furniture classes.

What would you tell a girl that was interested in doing what you do?
If you are passionate about fashion, furniture and design - definitely explore the possibilities through college classes and look for part-time jobs at furniture retail stores to gain some industry knowledge. Also reading the home fashion magazines is a great help - Elle Décor, Metropolitan Home, Architectural Digest, Dwell and many more.

What are some of your hobbies?
Design, Tennis, Makeovers, Sewing and Cooking.

If you could talk to you when you were 12 years old, what advice would you give yourself?
Be very involved in high school activities - sports, clubs, band, cheerleading and so forth. Don't be afraid to be yourself and try new things. Be brave and adventurous.
