Okami is a beautiful game that takes you back a long time ago to Japan, where you begin the story with the heroic tale of a wolf and man who vanquish a demon. 100 years ago, the pair defeat the demon and save a small village, but after 100 years of peace something goes wrong and the darkness returns.

You are Amaterasu, a god in the body of a wolf who has come to save the people of the village. The people do not believe that you are the same wolf that saved them a hundred years ago, but as their belief grows so does your power through a brush. Amaterasu can use the brush of the gods to paint sunrises, the wind, and control nature.

As Amaterasu sets out to defeat the evil that has returned to Japan, she is accompanied by Issun, a tiny friend who has a lot to say for her. This grand journey takes the pair throughout the country as they find brush techniques to rid the land of evil.

Okami is a gorgeous and unique game. You feel as though you are playing the game through a painting and you use your brush to add to it! With many hidden secrets to discover, this game will keep you busy for a long time!
